Stefano Magaddino was Mafia boss of Western New York and was based in Niagara Falls, NY. His brother Nino opened a funeral home in the early 1940s and built a big funeral home on Niagara Street in the mid-1950s. Deaths of Italians were a big business for the Magaddino Memorial Chapel until it closed in the late 1980s/early 1990s. In 2009 we toured the then-closed building and took most of these pictures. if you ever attended a funeral there or have any knowledge about the building, we’d love to include it here.
